What are the Settings for Email?
If you prefer to check your email in a different program (other than via Online Webmail) you will need to set up your account according to the method below.

Account ID or User ID:

Your Account ID or User ID is your full email address (such as you@yourdomain.com)

POP Server or Incoming Server:

The POP or Incoming Server setting is set using your own domain, but prefixing the domain with "mail". For example, if you have yourdomain.com as your domain name, your POP Server would be: mail.yourdomain.com.

SMTP Server or Outgoing Server:

The SMTP or Outgoing Server can vary depending on your ISP's settings. Some ISP companies will not allow you to use a separate SMTP server to send outgoing mail. They may require you to use their own settings. Check with your ISP to determine what needs to be used for your location. If you do NOT need to use your ISP's settings, you can use the same mail settings as the Incoming, adding "mail" to the beginning of your domain for something like: mail.yourdomain.com.

If you are unsure how these settings should be input into your specific email program, please open a support ticket and we will assist you.
